I briefly experimented with Impulse Tracker module files with my first PC back in the late 90s. R1 was probably the only track I ever produced with it.

Propellerhead Reason

I started using Reason with version 2.5 and thoroughly enjoyed tinkering with its virtual instruments. It was fun to learn about the different types of synthesis, waveforms processing, and building virtual rigs you wire up together.
